TV COVER GUIDE

TV cover: size & buying guide

How to choose a TV cover that protects against everyday dust without becoming difficult to use.

VISUTRA TV cover

Television covers are mainly used when a TV is not being watched. Their job is simple: reduce dust settling on the screen, frame and nearby surfaces. The cover should be easy to remove and should not put pressure on the screen.

Use screen size as a starting point

TVs are commonly described by the diagonal screen size in inches, such as 32, 43, 50, 55 or 65 inches. That number is useful for finding a likely cover category, but the physical width and height of the TV frame can vary between models. Check the cover's stated dimensions before ordering.

Check the shape and stand

Measure the TV frame and consider whether it sits on a central stand, two feet or a wall mount. A cover intended for a free-standing TV may hang differently from one used on a wall-mounted setup.

Cable access matters

The VISUTRA TV cover design includes a base cable-access area. This is useful when cables need to remain routed behind the television. Even with a cable opening, remove the cover before switching on the TV unless the product instructions for your specific cover explicitly say otherwise.

Protect the screen while fitting

Cleaning

Shake or brush off loose dust first. Use a soft damp cloth for routine cleaning and mild detergent for deeper washing when compatible with the fabric's care instructions. Dry fully before storage.

Before you buy

Confirm the TV screen size and compare the cover dimensions with your model. If you are unsure, send VISUTRA the TV brand/model and screen size using our enquiry form.
